Climbstrument is an experimental digital game on the surface of the wall. It is a hybrid of indoor climbing and projection mapping. Each custom made sensor has a unique sound and touching them creates a polygonal strucutre with randomized colors, projection mapped on to the surface. The players can shape the dynamic drawing with variations. The game allows to playback the wall climbing sequence in a loop and enjoy a rhytmical audio-visual interpretation generated from our previous steps.
The climbing elements were created with custom capacitive sensors connected to an arduino, sending data to vvvv where the projection mapping and interactivity was developed.
